ACO is currently accepting applications for a Production Intern. The intern will work closely with ACO’s operations and production staff to produce concerts and related musical and educational programs at Carnegie Hall and other venues. Sample duties include:
- Organizing, cataloging and maintaining ACO’s archives of recordings and program notes.
- developing a new archival system for the scores of ACO’s commissioned works
- Assisting in preparations for concert productions, including organizing equipment for rehearsals and performances, communicating with composers and guest artists.
- General office duties
Ideal candidates will have a desire to learn about new orchestra music, concert production, and an interest in the performing arts.
Days/Hours: Applicants must be available to work a minimum of 5 hours per week, for a minimum of three months.
Salary: This is an unpaid position, however a stipend and/or college credit may be available.
