David Tinervia

Baritone David Tinervia has performed as a soloist throughout the United States and Canada. A two-time fellow at the Tanglewood Music Center, Tinervia recently made his debut as The Traveler in Curlew River in collaboration with the Mark Morris Dance Group.

Recently Tinervia has appeared as a soloist with Emmanuel Music’s Bach Cantata Series in Boston, the Kingston Symphony Orchestra, Ballet Opera Pantomime in Montreal, and alongside acclaimed American baritone Sanford Sylvan in the Blanche Moyse Memorial Orchestra’s production of Bach’s St. John Passion in Marlboro, Vermont.

Tinervia has also had the great pleasure of singing with Boston’s Handel & Haydn Society on multiple occasions as well as with the Arcadia Players in South Hadley, Massachusetts.

In recent years he has performed with Ensemble Caprice, the Church of St. Andrew and St. Paul in Montreal and the Kitchener-Waterloo Symphony Orchestra. In Toronto, Tinervia sang the role of Prince Prospero in the world premiere of Cecilia Livingston’s chamber opera The Masque of the Red Death as well as Roderick Usher in Debussy’s La Chute de la Maison Usher with Opera 5.  Tinervia is a recent graduate of McGill University.
